About JP Lumina

Where can I buy JP Lumina products?

In our own webshop on this site. It holds everything we have in stock, you pay with iDEAL or card, and you order directly from us. Find it under Shop in the menu.

What makes your 3D-printed products unique?

All of our 3D-printed collectibles and accessories (like our custom slab stands) are designed in-house and printed on state-of-the-art Bambu Lab 3D printers. This lets us achieve incredibly clean details, high durability, and custom colours that perfectly match the TCG aesthetic.

Orders & shipping

How long does it take for my order to arrive?

Orders are shipped from the warehouse within 1–2 working days.

How do you package single cards for shipping?

We ship all single cards securely. Standard procedure includes placing the card in a soft sleeve and then inside a rigid plastic toploader. The toploader is then sealed to ensure the card does not slip out during transit.

Can I return my order?

Yes. If you order from us on this website, you have fourteen days to change your mind. Report your return from your order in your account, or via contact. How it works exactly is on Shipping & returns.

What does graded mean, and how do I check a certificate?

A graded card sits in a sealed plastic case (slab) from a grading company such as PSA, BGS or CGC, with a grade for its condition. The product shows the grader, the grade and the certificate number; for PSA and CGC there's a link to check the certificate straight away. The grade is the grader's opinion, not ours.

Lumina Account & Tools

Which Lumina tools are there, and do I need an account?

All tools are free. You can use the Lumina Dex and the Lumina Colouring Book without an account. For Lumina Collection (with the card scanner), the Lumina Wishlist, the Lumina Binder and the Lumina DeckBuilder you create a free account: that is where we keep your collection, binders and decks.

What is the Lumina Dex?

The Lumina Dex is our custom-built online Pokémon TCG database. We wanted to create a modern, Pokédex-style environment where collectors can easily view, filter, and search for cards from various sets with high-quality imagery.

How up to date is the Lumina Dex, and what do the prices mean?

We update the Dex ourselves: new sets are added after they have been released. The prices are an indication of the market price at the time we last updated the Dex — not a live price and not a valuation. The price in our shop is the price you pay when you buy from us.

A card is missing or I see a mistake in the Lumina Dex. What now?

Let us know via contact, with the set, the card number and what is wrong. We'll look into it.

How do I manage my collection and wishlist?

In Lumina Collection. The first tab, the Master Binder, shows all your sets: open a set, click a card and press +. You can also use the card scanner, or import your collection from a CSV file, for example an export from Cardmarket.

What you're still missing goes on your wishlist. If you like, you'll get an e-mail as soon as that card comes in with us.

How does the card scanner work, and do you get my photos?

The card scanner is part of Lumina Collection. Hold a card in front of the camera or pick a few photos: what it recognises goes into a list that you check and approve. Recognition happens on your own device. Your photo stays with you; only a few numbers are sent to us. For now it only recognises English cards.

Tips: fill the dashed frame completely with the card, take the card out of its sleeve (plastic reflects the light) and use even light, without harsh backlight or a hard shadow across the artwork.

The scanner can make mistakes, especially between variants such as holo and reverse holo. So check a card yourself before you trade or sell it.

How do I back up my collection?

We make regular backups ourselves, but a copy of your own never hurts. In your account under Privacy you'll find Download my data: that gives you one file with your collection, wishlist, binders and decks. You can also copy a deck as a deck list via Share, and with the Lumina Binder you can print a set as a PDF.

How do I share a deck, and how do I stop?

Open a saved deck in the Lumina DeckBuilder and choose Share → Share with a link. Anyone with that link can view the deck, without your name, and search engines don't include it. If you no longer want to share, choose Withdraw link: the old link then stops working. You can share again later, with a new link.

Is the DeckBuilder always right?

It checks your deck against the rules of Standard, Expanded and Gym Leader Challenge, and we keep the lists of banned cards up to date. But it remains an aid: at an official tournament the rules of The Pokémon Company apply, and the Head Judge decides. So if in doubt, check your deck yourself too.

May I print proxies?

Yes, to try out a deck at home before you buy the cards. In the DeckBuilder choose Share → Print proxies: every card at actual size, nine per A4, black and white and marked PLACEHOLDER. Proxies are for your own use only: not for sale or trade, and not for official tournaments.

How do I print binder sheets and colouring pages properly?

Print on A4 at actual size (100%, not ‘fit to page’). Binder sheets have nine cards per A4, exactly card-sized; at the bottom of each sheet there is a 5 cm line to measure. Print colouring pages in landscape.

May I sell or share colouring pages or binder sheets?

No. The card names and images belong to The Pokémon Company. Colouring pages, binder sheets and proxies are only for yourself and for use at home: not for sale, distribution or posting on another website.

Are the Lumina tools finished?

No, and that's on purpose. We build the tools ourselves, with a lot of love, and they are in active development: features are added, and sometimes something changes or disappears. Found a bug or have an idea? Let us know via contact. We read everything, but we can't pick up every suggestion right away.

Something doesn't work (anymore). What now?

Refresh the page and try again a little later: sometimes we're updating something. If it keeps going wrong, send us via contact what you did, on which device and in which browser. A screenshot helps.

How do I close my account?

In your account under Privacy. If you have no orders yet, your account disappears completely. If you do have orders, we remove everything that doesn't belong on an invoice: we have to keep invoices for seven years. If an order or return is still in progress, you can close your account once it is finished.

Auctions

How does bidding on an auction work?

Pick a lot under Auctions in the menu and bid at least the amount shown in the bidding box. A bid is binding: if you have the highest bid at the end, you buy the lot. Bidders are shown without names, only with a letter.

What is automatic bidding?

You set a maximum. We then bid for you, always as little as needed to stay on top, up to that amount. Nobody sees your maximum. In case of an equal bid, whoever bid first wins.

Why does an auction sometimes run past its end time?

A bid in the last minutes puts the clock back. That way nobody can win in the last second without the others getting a chance to respond. It stops by itself when nobody bids anymore.

What is a reserve price?

The lowest amount we're willing to sell a lot for. If the highest bid stays below it, it isn't sold and you pay nothing. The lot shows whether the reserve has been met.

Why can't I bid (yet)?

Bidding is for 18 and over, with a verified account you've bought and paid with before. The lot shows exactly what's still missing, with a button to where you sort it out. How high you may bid grows with your paid orders.

I won. How do I pay, and how long do I have?

You'll get an e-mail, and the order is in your account under My auctions. You pay the bid plus shipping within 24 hours, by iDEAL or card. We then ship within two working days.

What happens if I don't pay in time?

Then the sale lapses and the next bidder can have it. We don't charge for that, but anyone who repeatedly doesn't pay for a won auction can no longer bid.

What if I don't want a won auction or a second chance after all?

Click I'll pass, on the auction or in My auctions. The next bidder gets the chance straight away, as long as their bid is above the reserve price. If you won, passing counts as one unpaid win; for a second chance there are no consequences.

Can I withdraw a bid?

No, a bid is binding. If you made a mistake, such as a typo, e-mail us straight away via contact. We can then remove the bid; you'll see that on the auction and in My auctions.

Do I get 14 days to change my mind on an auction too?

Yes. By law an online auction doesn't count as a public auction, so you have the same 14 days as in the shop. The cost of sending it back is yours; we may deduct for an opened slab or an opened sealed product.
